Contact Lenses

Contact Lenses in Memphis, TN

Contact lenses come in many different materials and designs. Dr. Salley can help you select the best lens for you, even if that means custom designing lenses just for your eyes.

Daily disposable or extended wear

All contact lenses need to be replaced periodically for health and comfort. With daily disposable lenses, you’re always wearing brand-new clean, and comfortable lenses.

Medically Necessary Or Elective

Most people have the option of wearing glasses or contact lenses, those are considered elective. Some people that have had eye injuries, disorders, or surgeries can only see well with the use of custom contact lenses.  These lenses are considered medically necessary.

Soft or Rigid Lenses

Contact lenses are made of either soft or rigid materials. Rigid lenses can be designed as corneal lenses that rest on the cornea. Or as scleral lenses that rest on the sclera (the white part of the eye). Each design has its own set of benefits. Dr. Salley will help you select the best option for you.

WHAT ARE SCLERAL LENSES?

Dr. Seth Salley uses Bostonsight scleral lenses at Clearview Family Eyecare to help people with dry eyes, scars, keratoconus, transplants or anything else that makes it difficult to use other kinds of contact lenses.
